One of our goals at Keddem is to provide for organizational memory. Here, you'll find information on, for example, preparing to run various events, event reports, setup instructions, and such.

Torah Study

Torah Study is held the first Satuardy each month, at Beit Keddem. Setup includes ________________, and should begin at approximately _______ in order to be ready for the scheduled 10am start.

Shabbat Ma'ariv services are held at the Friends Meeting, New Meeting House, on the last Friday evening of each month, 7:30. Setup should begin by about 7:30, and includes:

If it's cold, turn on the heat. Do this first: it's radiant heat, and needs all the time it can get to warm the room!
Moving the Ark from the Friends office to the Meeting Room.
Removing the two boxes of siddurim from the bottom of the Ark, placing them on a table in the foyer.
Placing copies of the Keddem Outlook and other Keddem and JRF information on a table in the foyer.
Ensuring a table is available for the Oneg.
Setting up a small table in front of the Ark for the Shabbat candles. Place a table cloth on the table, put the candlesticks with (half) candles and matches on the table.
Ensure the chairs are arranged neatly.
Hang the name tags on the door to the Meeting Room.
Smile, and be ready to greet people!
